Urielle’s Journey : From Shelter Pup to Forever Home
In June last year, a brave mother gave birth to six puppies, one of whom was our sweet Urielle. The family was rescued and immediately brought to the vet, where the puppies received vaccinations and were spayed or neutered. For nearly five months, they stayed at the clinic, and during that time, three of Urielle’s siblings found their forever homes.
When Urielle and her two brothers were finally discharged, they were all placed up for adoption. At their very first event, her eldest brother was adopted, and soon after, her second brother found his home as well. But Urielle, with her gentle soul and her boundless love for both humans and dogs, was returned from foster care after just a month. The reason? The resident pet couldn't adjust to having another dog in the home.
Back at the shelter, Urielle settled into a new routine, forming a special friendship with Yuki, another dog around her age. Together, they brought endless joy and a bit of mischief to the shelter, becoming beloved by all. But despite her lovely personality, Urielle attended many adoption drives only to return without a family. Over time, she seemed to lose hope, becoming hesitant to leave the shelter she had grown so familiar with.
From the tiny five-month-old pup we had known, Urielle blossomed into a stunning one-year-old dog, with a sleek figure and distinctive black eyeliner markings that made her truly unique. However, it seemed that her beauty and gentle heart went unnoticed by many.
But as they say, the right family was just a little late to the party. And finally, they arrived!
When the day came to bring Urielle to her new home, it was an emotional moment. Tears flowed as we drove her to her future, and Urielle, sensing the significance of the moment, quietly shed a few tears of her own. As we pulled up to her new home, she bravely stepped out of the car and took her first walk around the area. Though initially nervous, she quickly settled in, embracing her new life with quiet affection. She warmed up to all her new family members, from the children to the elderly, and most importantly, she got along beautifully with the resident pet.
It felt as though Urielle was telling us with her gentle demeanor, "I will be good."
Our dear Urielle, you are a wonderful dog with a heart full of love. You are destined for happiness, and we know you will bring as much joy to your new family as you brought to all of us.
